The
public no longer thinks just "telegram" when we talk of PT&T's
439 nationwide distribution outlets. That simple beginning
has come a long way since PT&T introduced the telegram's derivatives
such as the "Regalogram", "Socialgram", "Faxgram", Telegraphic
Money Order and "Singinggram". The ever-dependable "Vodex"
(the phrase coined to signify long distance communications)
continues to be used for long distance calling especially
in the provinces as well as operator-assisted calls. Other
new products and services like Prepaid Phone Cards have also
found their way into our outlets. This shift in the public's
paradigm, due mainly to the Company's continuous market studies
and creative vicissitude of its products, has kept the branches
and counters in business for the last thirty-eight (38) years.

With
its 1,211 strategically located PT&T payphones, residents
of Laguna and Rizal are serviced 24 hours a day, seven days
a week. Of these payphones, 342 are combination phones which
are capable of accepting both coin and chipcard transactions.
In the coming year, customers at PT&T will be able to enjoy
the service of these payphones in PT&T's outlets nationwide.
The
Access Card is one of the few in the industry that can be
used from any land-based or cellular phone. The Access Card
Plus is a Prepaid Plus denominations chip-based card which
is for use in all PT&T payphones. Its wide distribution
base is attributed to PT&T's extensive network in its retail
business within the National Capital Region, telephony exchanges
and some major dealers.
